DESCRIPTION
Expanded PTFE Rope is made of 100% PTFE of puffed PTFE material cut or punched. Expanded PTFE material (eptfe) expands PTFE into a unique material with strong, tough and porous properties and is highly fibrotic.
It not only maintains the unique properties of PTFE itself - excellent chemical stability (not affected by general chemicals); extremely low coefficient of friction; wider operating temperature; non-aging and permanent durability;
Now its multi-fiber structure gives it an unimaginable tenacity as a sealing product, and more importantly, it fundamentally solves the common problems of other types of tetrafluorine sealing materials -- creep and cold flow, which greatly improves the performance compared with pure tetrafluorine gaskets and filled tetrafluorine gaskets. Application
It’s widely used in sealing of food equipment,chemical industry,sealing of high linear velocity valve or pump. Specially, PTFE fibre braided packing can be applied to seal all chemicals except molten alkali metal because PTFE fibre has perfect resistance to most of chemicals. PTFE fiber braided packing can be used to seals of pharmaceutic . General speaking,it is widely used for where contamination is not allowed. It is recommended for chemical engineering.
